Banal Objects

This is my latest series of images. I photographed found, ordinary things that were thrown away – destroyed, unused, even garbage – in unusual arrangements, combining them with more lyrical background elements. By placing these discarded objects in atypical contexts and giving them a renewed importance, a new meaning, they are allowed another chance at life. For personal reasons, this is very important to me.
